We get to know you, we find out your major, and we really work one-on-one with you to develop an educational plan so that you know each step throughout the process and it really helps to know from day one, what your expectations are.
There's someone always available when I've needed help, whether it be with scheduling classes or financial aid, there's always someone there that I can go to and they're very quick at responding when needed.
We provide flexible services so you can come in person and meet with an advisor. We have our Advising Office, Tutoring, Career Services... We also offer a lot of virtual options.
With being a smaller campus here, SMC having the flexibility is really a big thing so I can take the classes I need to be successful.
