SMC is an incredibly affordable school, so it’s a great place to begin your college journey. It is also focused on you and your goals. We offer more than 40 degree and certificate options. Some take you directly into the workforce, and others give you easy options to transfer to the 4-year school of your choice.
Because we participate in the Michigan Transfer Agreement, you can make a smooth transition to Michigan schools. But you can just as easily transfer to almost any institution nationwide without losing credits or time toward your major. SMC also offers bachelor’s degree programs on campus in partnership with Ferris State University and Grand Valley State University, as well as a certificate program with Michigan State University.
